Jaanalta sain multaa ja haravan. Pia lähetti myös multaa ja sen lisäksi ruukkuja, pingispelin ja hyppynarun, johon Viivi halusi välittömästi tutustua. Ikävä kyllä naru oli Viiville vielä hieman liian pitkä, ja niinpä hän sotkeutui siihen heti kättelyssä. Leenalta saimme korin, jossa oli kaikenlaista vihannessatoa sekä hilloa. Omalle pihallemme ilmestyi tänä kesänä niin monta siiliä, että osa niistä halusi muuttaa swapin osallistujien luo. Mukaan laitoin siilikirjan, joka paljastaa kaikki tärkeät asiat siilistä, mm. sen, ettei sille saa antaa maitoa. Onneksi yksi siili malttoi jäädä meidänkin seuraksemme.

Happening on the yard swap
Along all the traveling we did last summer, I also managed to participate a swap dedicated to all things happening on the yard. As the autumn is settling in, there is now a lot of use for many goodies we got from this swap.
From Jaana we got some soil and a rake. Pia sent also some soil and then some pots, paddles for a ping-pong game and a skipping rope. Vivian immediately wanted to try it out but unfortunately it was still a bit too long for her, so she ended up getting tangled up with it. Leena contributed a basket full of vegetables and jam.
There has a lot of hedgehogs on our yard this year. A few of them were interested in moving somewhere else and were happy to be adopted by the other swap participants. They were accompanied by the Book of Hedgehog that I sent to each new host family to ensure that the hedgehogs get the best possible treatment. Fortunately there was also one hedgehog who wanted to stay with us, too!
