Kirjat saivat viimeinkin arvoisensa hyllyn

Olen ollut kova hamstraamaan kirjoja, mutta kirjahyllyä meillä ei vielä ole ollut. Nyt sellainen on kuitenkin hankittu, ja olen kovin ylpeä siitä, että maalasin hyllyn aivan itse. Alberto ihmetteli hieman sen vanhahtavaa ulkonäköä, mutta sanoin hänelle, että maalareilla on konstinsa.

Magnus Björnhufvud tuli auttamaan kirjahyllyn kantamisessa paikoilleen.
- Varo, Alberto, liiskannut sinne nurkkaan! minä hössötin hädissäni seuratessani tapahtumaa vierestä.
- Ei hätää, Magnus Björnhufvud rauhoitteli minua.



Kirjahylly saatiin peloistani huolimatta Alberton loukkaantumatta paikoilleen. Aloin innokkaasti asetella kirjojamme hyllyille. Sillä aikaa Alberto tarjosi Magnus Björnhufvudille oluen kiitokseksi avusta.



Lopuksi lienee syytä muistuttaa arvonnastamme. Sehän julistettiin alkaneeksi reilu viikko sitten. Ilmoittautuneita on jo monta, mutta vielä mahtuu mukaan. Arvontaan ehtii ilmoittautua, kunhan tekee sen ennen kuin koittaa 25.3. Jätä vain kommentti 14.3. kirjoitettuun postaukseen ja olet mukana.

A shelf worth the books

Despite the fact that I am an avid book lover (and buyer) we have been missing a proper bookshelf so far. But now we have one and I am very proud as I painted it all by myself. Alberto was wondering the antique look I managed to achieve but I told him that all great painters have their tricks.

Magnus Björnhufvud came to help us to move the shelf into its place on the corner of the living room. I was worrying that Alberto will crush under the shelf when they were carrying it but Magnus told me that there was no need to worry.

Finally the shelf stood in its place. I started to place our books into the shelf eagerly. Meanwhile Alberto brought some beer for Magnus as a token of gratitude for the help.
